Unauthenticated SQL injection via unescaped student parameter
Published Dec 14, 2025 · Updated Dec 14, 2025
SQL injection in check.php in Code Projects Simple Attendance Record System 2.0 allows remote attackers to manipulate database queries. The endpoint copies the POST student value directly into a single-quoted SELECT statement without escaping or parameter binding. No authentication is required; crafted values can alter record selection and use the Success, Error, or database-error response as an oracle for indirect disclosure.
