Stored XSS via unrestricted Custom JS input

Published Dec 23, 2025 · Updated Dec 23, 2025

Stored XSS in the Custom JS feature of weDevs Happy Addons for Elementor 3.20.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts. The extension stores the ha_page_custom_js value from Elementor page settings and renders it without adequate sanitization or output escaping. Contributor-level access and an enabled Custom JS feature are sufficient; the script runs when a visitor opens the affected page despite its administrator-only design.
