Settings tampering via missing nonce validation
Published Jan 28, 2026 · Updated Jan 28, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Recooty Job Widget 1.0.1 through 1.0.6 allows remote attackers to alter job-widget settings. The recooty_save_maybe() handler accepts an unverified request and writes attacker-controlled data to the recooty_key option used for iframe source content. A logged-in site administrator must be induced to submit the forged request; successful exploitation changes the embedded iframe source.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
