CVE-2025-14615Network attack vector

SQL injection via nonce-free settings update

Published Jan 14, 2026 · Updated Jan 14, 2026

Cross-site request forgery in Dashboard Builder 1.5.7 and earlier allows remote attackers to alter SQL settings through an administrator's browser. The settings handler in dashboardbuilder-admin.php accepts a state-changing request without validating a nonce, stores attacker-supplied SQL and database credentials, and later executes the SQL when the [show-dashboardbuilder] shortcode renders. Exploitation requires an authenticated site administrator to submit the forged request; rendered chart output can expose data returned by the injected query.
