Unintended execution via incorrect ACL permissions

Incorrect permission assignment in affected IBM Storage Scale releases allows local users to expose resources for unintended execution. When a directory has a specific ACL composition, Storage Scale assigns additional execute permissions to a resource instead of preserving the intended access boundary. Local access and user interaction are required, and the resulting permissions allow unintended actors to execute the affected resource without reported availability impact.
