Unauthenticated admin takeover via configuration path traversal
Published Aug 19, 2026 · Updated Aug 19, 2026
Path traversal and insecure deserialization in vsDesk 11.06.02 and 14.01.01 allow remote attackers to gain administrative access. The AD configuration selector accepts a traversed file path, then deserializes the selected contents without safely constraining the file or data, allowing arbitrary LDAP settings. No prior authentication or user interaction is required; the altered LDAP configuration provisions an attacker-controlled administrator account.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
