Database access via unescaped keyname interpolation
Published Dec 13, 2025 · Updated Dec 13, 2025
SQL injection in /admin/search.php in Code Projects Prison Management System 2.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter SQL queries. The script trims the keyname URL parameter, interpolates it directly into a quoted LIKE pattern in a SELECT statement, and executes the resulting string with mysqli_query. Access to the administrative search endpoint is required; successful injection can read or modify data available to the application's database account.
