Published Jan 10, 2026 · Updated Jan 10, 2026
Stored XSS in WpDevArt Countdown Timer – Widget Countdown 2.7.7 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts. The wpdevart_countdown shortcode renders user-supplied attributes without sufficient sanitization and output escaping, storing attacker-controlled markup in page content. Contributor-level access is required, and the injected script executes in a visitor's browser whenever the affected page is opened.
