Authenticated stored XSS via unescaped event descriptions

Stored XSS in Kieran O'Shea Calendar 1.3.16 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through event_desc. The event submission paths store event_desc without sufficient sanitization, and calendar rendering emits the stored value without contextual escaping. Contributor-level access reaches the flaw only when an administrator permits lower-privilege event management; scripts run when a user opens an affected calendar page.
