Router crash via unchecked SSID copy
Published Dec 11, 2025 · Updated Dec 11, 2025
Buffer overflow in UTT 进取 512W 3.1.7.7-171114 allows remote authenticated users to crash the router via a crafted SSID. The formConfigFastDirectionW handler passes the SSID value to strcpy without checking the destination buffer length when wrlessMode is 4. The published proof of concept uses a digest-authenticated administrator request and demonstrates a denial-of-service path; code execution is not established.
