Administrator credential disclosure via newline parameter injection
Published Dec 11, 2025 · Updated Dec 11, 2025
Authentication bypass in D-Link DIR-803 1.04 and earlier allows remote attackers to read administrator credentials via a crafted HTTP request. The /getcfg.php handler treats newline-injected AUTHORIZED_GROUP and service values as trusted authorization context, then returns DEVICE.ACCOUNT XML. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the disclosed account data enables access to the router's administrative interface.
