Authenticated file placement via unrestricted imgFile handling

Published Dec 11, 2025 · Updated Dec 11, 2025

Unrestricted file upload in baowzh hfly allows remote authenticated users to place files on the server through imgFile. The upload_json.php handler accepts the imgFile multipart body and writes its content under the public upload tree without adequately restricting dangerous file types. An authenticated session is required; commit 638ff9abe9078bc977c132b37acbe1900b63491c is affected, and successful uploads place attacker-controlled content in a web-accessible location.
