Unauthenticated code execution via SSO script injection

Authentication bypass in ABB Ability OPTIMAX allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted SSO message. The Azure Active Directory SSO authentication script permits code injection when it processes the crafted message, allowing authentication to be bypassed. Exploitation requires the optional Azure Active Directory integration, network access to an affected node, and knowledge of a valid nondefault username; successful access permits configuration changes, system shutdown, and arbitrary code execution.
