Authenticated code execution via external SVG entities
Published Jan 17, 2026 · Updated Jan 17, 2026
XXE in Kraft Plugins Demo Importer Plus 2.0.9 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute code via a crafted SVG upload. The get_svg_dimensions method passes the uploaded SVG path to simplexml_load_file, which parses attacker-controlled XML with external entities enabled. Exploitation requires Author-level access and PHP before 8.0; Wordfence reports code execution but publishes no narrower configuration detail.
