CVE-2025-14477Network attack vector

Administrator-only SQL injection via filterText sanitization bypass

Published Dec 13, 2025 · Updated Dec 13, 2025

SQL injection in Aaron J 404 Solution 3.1.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to extract database data through filterText. The ajaxUpdatePaginationLinks action removes dollar signs from filterText without rechecking the result, so *$/ becomes */ and terminates an SQL comment before attacker-controlled input is appended to an existing query. Administrator-level WordPress access is required, and exploitation provides time-based blind disclosure rather than database writes or service interruption.
