Plugin setting changes via missing nonce validation
Published Dec 13, 2025 · Updated Dec 13, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in Lucky Draw Contests 4.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to update plugin settings via forged requests. The misc-settings.php settings handler accepts state-changing administrator requests without valid nonce verification. Exploitation requires a logged-in site administrator to follow a crafted link or submit a forged form; the documented consequence is plugin-setting modification.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
