Database query execution via unsanitized relationship ordering
Published Mar 23, 2025 · Updated Mar 24, 2025
SQL injection in Pods before 3.2.8.2 allows remote authenticated users with administrator privileges to read database data. The Customized ORDER BY option for a multi-select Users relationship field is stored without sanitization or escaping and later inserted into SQL executed when a user profile is viewed. Administrator access is required to create and configure the relationship field, and the published proof of concept demonstrates an injected time-delay query.
