Slider deletion via missing bulk-action nonce validation
Published Dec 13, 2025 · Updated Dec 13, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in Image Slider by Ays 2.7.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to delete arbitrary sliders. The bulk-delete handler processes administrator-originated deletion requests without valid WordPress nonce verification. Exploitation requires a site administrator with slider-management access to interact with an attacker-controlled link or page; the bounded consequence is deletion of selected slider records.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
