Wallet balance manipulation via unchecked request ownership
Published Jan 17, 2026 · Updated Jan 17, 2026
Missing authorization in Wallet System for WooCommerce 2.7.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to alter wallet balances. The change_wallet_fund_request_status_callback AJAX handler processes an attacker-supplied requested_user_id without verifying that it matches the current user. Subscriber-level access is sufficient to approve another user's withdrawal request, increasing the attacker's balance or decreasing another user's balance.
