Unauthenticated stored XSS via unescaped connection identifier
Published Jan 8, 2026 · Updated Jan 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Brevo for WooCommerce 4.0.49 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute scripts via user_connection_id. The connection callback stores the untrusted parameter, and the administrator menu view renders it without sanitization or context-appropriate escaping. No account is required to submit the value; execution occurs when a user opens the affected page and runs with that browser session's privileges.
