Subscriber-level stored XSS via unescaped social key
Published Dec 15, 2025 · Updated Dec 15, 2025
Stored XSS in ThimPress LearnPress 4.3.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run scripts through profile social data. The get_profile_social method inserts a user-controlled social key into an HTML class attribute without attribute escaping. Subscriber-level access permits storing the key, and the script executes when another user views the affected profile output.
