Contributor-level AI token disclosure via unchecked REST route
Published Jan 16, 2026 · Updated Jan 16, 2026
Missing authorization in All in One SEO 4.9.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read a global AI access token. The /aioseo/v1/ai/credits REST route returns AI credit data and the site-wide token without enforcing the intended capability check. Contributor-level access is sufficient, and the demonstrated consequence is disclosure of the shared credential rather than WordPress administration.
