Sandbox escape via Password Manager use-after-free
Published Dec 12, 2025 · Updated Dec 12, 2025
Use-after-free in Google Chrome's Password Manager before 143.0.7499.110 allows remote attackers to escape the sandbox via crafted HTML. Google has not published the affected function or the operation that leaves a Password Manager object accessible after its lifetime ends. Exploitation requires a user to open a crafted HTML page; successful exploitation crosses the browser sandbox boundary but does not by itself establish arbitrary code execution.
