Unauthenticated font deletion via unchecked constructor
Published Jan 20, 2026 · Updated Jan 20, 2026
Missing authorization in Brainstorm Force Custom Fonts 2.1.16 and earlier allows remote attackers to delete locally hosted font data. The BCF_Google_Fonts_Compatibility constructor treats a page parameter as authorization and performs destructive filesystem operations without a capability or nonce check. A single unauthenticated HTTP request with page=bsf-custom-fonts triggers the path; it also rewrites theme.json and can disrupt site appearance.
