Unauthenticated file deletion via unchecked path
Published Dec 12, 2025 · Updated Dec 12, 2025
Path traversal in Multi Uploader for Gravity Forms 1.1.7 and earlier allows remote attackers to delete arbitrary server files. The plupload_ajax_delete_file handler insufficiently validates a supplied path before deleting it, permitting traversal beyond intended upload storage. No authentication or user interaction is required, and deletion of critical files can interrupt the WordPress site.
