Unauthenticated SQL injection via unsanitized sy parameter
Published Dec 9, 2025 · Updated Dec 9, 2025
SQL injection in promote.php in itsourcecode.com Student Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to access and alter database data. The handler passes the unauthenticated POST parameter sy into a MySQL query without sanitization or parameter binding, enabling time-based blind injection. No authentication or user interaction is required; a crafted request can read or alter database contents and interrupt service within the database account's privileges.
