Unauthenticated SQL injection via POST sy parameter
Published Dec 9, 2025 · Updated Dec 12, 2025
SQL injection in new_school_year.php in itsourcecode.com Student Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to alter SQL queries. The endpoint places the unauthenticated POST sy value into a database query without validation or parameter binding; a published payload uses MySQL SLEEP for time-based extraction. No authentication is required, and successful exploitation permits database reads or writes within the application database account privileges.
