Unauthenticated database access via unsanitized Name parameter
Published Dec 9, 2025 · Updated Dec 12, 2025
SQL injection in new_adviser.php in itsourcecode.com Student Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to access database data via a crafted Name value. The endpoint uses the POST Name value in a MySQL query without sanitization, validation, or parameter binding, allowing injected SQL syntax to alter query execution. No authentication is required; the public proof of concept demonstrates boolean-, error-, and time-based query manipulation and database-name retrieval.
