Memory corruption through undisclosed memory safety defects
Published Dec 9, 2025 · Updated Apr 13, 2026
Memory safety defects in Firefox 145, Firefox ESR 140.5, Thunderbird 145, and Thunderbird ESR 140.5 allow attackers to corrupt memory. Mozilla has not published the affected components or the invalid operations that produce the corruption. Mozilla presumes that some defects can support arbitrary code execution with sufficient effort; Thunderbird generally exposes the risk only in browser-like contexts because mail-reader scripting is disabled.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
