JIT miscompilation in Mozilla Firefox before 146 and Thunderbird before 146 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code. Mozilla identifies the JavaScript Engine's JIT component but has not disclosed the faulty compilation operation or triggering input. The affected ESR lines are Firefox ESR before 115.31 and before 140.6 and Thunderbird ESR before 140.6; Thunderbird disables scripting while reading email, limiting exposure to browser-like contexts.
