Credential disclosure via unauthenticated configuration download
Published Dec 9, 2025 · Updated Feb 24, 2026
Information disclosure in Tenda AC9 15.03.05.14_multi allows remote attackers to read router secrets through its configuration handler. The /cgi-bin/DownloadCfg.jpg endpoint returns the configuration file without authorization, exposing the wireless password and administrator-password MD5 hash. Network access to the router web interface is sufficient; the disclosed credentials enable follow-on access but do not directly alter settings or interrupt service.
