Server code execution via untrusted extension installation
Published Dec 11, 2025 · Updated Dec 11, 2025
Improper code integrity validation in ConnectWise ScreenConnect before 25.8 allows remote authenticated users to execute server code. The extension subsystem accepts and executes extension content without sufficient server-side validation or an integrity check. Authorized or administrative access is required; abuse executes custom server code or reads application configuration data, while host and guest clients remain unaffected.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
