Database query manipulation via unsanitized payroll detail ID
Published Dec 8, 2025 · Updated Dec 8, 2025
SQL injection in add_payroll.php in Code Projects Daily Time Recording System 4.5.0 allows remote attackers to alter database queries. The handler inserts the POST detail_Id value directly into an SQL query without sanitization or parameter binding, enabling time-based blind injection. The public proof of concept reports no login requirement, while the CNA scoring requires low privileges; the demonstrated consequence is a controllable response delay, with broader database impact dependent on account permissions.
