Unauthenticated database access via unsanitized staff_id
Published Dec 8, 2025 · Updated Jan 7, 2026
SQL injection in Code Projects Simple Leave Manager 1.0 allows remote attackers to access or alter database data via staff_id. The request.php handler places the POST staff_id value directly into a SQL query without validation or parameter binding, enabling time-based blind injection. No authentication or user interaction is required; the published proof of concept demonstrates database enumeration through a crafted leave request.
