Stored script execution via unsanitized profile names
Published Dec 8, 2025 · Updated Dec 8, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in SourceCodester Online Banking System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script via profile names. The user page accepts First Name and Last Name values without neutralizing browser-executable content before storing and rendering them. A valid low-privilege account is required to change a profile, and another user's browser must render the saved name for script execution.
