Authenticated code execution via unbounded param copy
Published Dec 7, 2025 · Updated Dec 8, 2025
Buffer overflow in H3C Magic B1 100R004 allows remote authenticated users to crash the router or execute code via a crafted request. The sub_44de0 handler copies the param field from a POST request to /goform/aspForm without limiting its length, overflowing the destination buffer. Access to the web management interface and a valid session are required; successful exploitation interrupts routing or compromises device control.
