Root command execution via unsanitized backup path
Published Dec 7, 2025 · Updated Jan 28, 2026
Command injection in nas_svr on UGREEN DH2100+ 5.3.0.251125 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands through the backup API. The handler_file_backup_create function places the untrusted path value into a backup directory path and passes it to create_path without neutralizing shell metacharacters. High-privilege access to /v1/file/backup/create is required; successful injection runs attacker-supplied commands as root on the NAS.
