CVE-2025-14175

SSH traffic disclosure via weak algorithm negotiation

Published Dec 29, 2025 · Updated Dec 29, 2025

Weak SSH cryptography in TP-Link TL-WR820N V2.80 firmware before 1.15.0 Build 250813 allows attackers to decrypt SSH traffic. The SSH server negotiates a weak cryptographic algorithm, but TP-Link has not identified the algorithm or disclosed the negotiation path that accepts it. Exploitation requires an unauthenticated attacker positioned on the adjacent network and exposes SSH contents without reported integrity or availability impact.
