Backup data disclosure via incorrect authorization
Published May 21, 2025 · Updated May 21, 2025
Incorrect authorization in Proget MDM before 2.17.5 allows remote authenticated users to read managed-device backup change data. Konsola Proget permits low-privileged accounts to retrieve backup change records for devices outside their authorization scope, exposing user identifiers, names, email addresses, and device UUIDs. Exploitation requires a target backup UUID that cannot be brute-forced; disclosed device UUIDs enable retrieval of managed-device passwords through a separate flaw.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
