Settings modification via nonce-free update request
Published Dec 12, 2025 · Updated Dec 12, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in Coding Blocks 1.1.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to modify plugin settings through a forged request. The admin settings page accepts submitted theme configuration values and updates stored options without verifying a WordPress nonce. Exploitation requires an administrator with an active session to interact with attacker-controlled content, and the reported consequence is limited to plugin configuration changes.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
