Database disclosure via AJAX search SQL injection
Published Jan 5, 2026 · Updated Jan 5, 2026
SQL injection in the Team WordPress plugin before 5.0.11 allows remote attackers to read database data through an unauthenticated AJAX request. The ttp_Layout_Ajax_Action handler incorporates the search field into a SQL statement without sufficient sanitization or escaping. Exploitation requires a published page containing a plugin shortcode, from which the request nonce and shortcode identifier can be collected.
