Stored XSS via unescaped column shortcode attribute
Published Jan 7, 2026 · Updated Jan 7, 2026
Stored XSS in AH Shortcodes 1.0.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through the column shortcode attribute. The column shortcode handler places the attacker-controlled attribute into rendered page output without sanitizing the input or escaping the output. Contributor-level access is required, and the stored script executes whenever a user views an injected page, exposing that browser session to script actions.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
