Authenticated command execution via unneutralized safe_dir
Published Dec 5, 2025 · Updated Dec 16, 2025
Command injection in zSpace Q2C NAS 1.1.0210050 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands. The zfilev2_api.CloseSafe handler for POST /v2/file/safe/close places attacker-controlled safe_dir data into a command without neutralizing command metacharacters. Successful exploitation runs commands with the handler's privileges, exposing stored data to reading, alteration, or deletion and permitting service interruption.
