Unauthenticated account changes via missing permission check
Published Dec 5, 2025 · Updated Dec 5, 2025
Improper authorization in Himool ERP 2.0 through 2.2 allows remote attackers to create or modify company accounts without authentication. AdminActionViewSet.update_account exposes the /api/admin/update_account/ route without enforcing permission_classes before processing create or update requests. No prior account is required; successful requests can create an active company account or change an existing account's username, expiry date, or active state.
