Contributor-level stored XSS via custom schema field
Published Jan 23, 2026 · Updated Jan 23, 2026
Stored XSS in Magazine3 Schema & Structured Data for WP & AMP 1.54 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject web scripts. The user-profile handler stores saswp_custom_schema_field content without sufficient sanitization, and the schema output path renders that stored value without escaping. Contributor-level access is sufficient; injected script runs in a visitor's browser when a page containing the affected custom schema is rendered.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
