Arbitrary marquee deletion via forged administrator request
Published Dec 12, 2025 · Updated Dec 12, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in Animated Pixel Marquee Creator 1.0.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to delete arbitrary marquees. The administrative marquee deletion path consumes the marquee request parameter and performs deletion without verifying a WordPress nonce. Exploitation requires an authenticated site administrator to submit an attacker-controlled request, such as by following a crafted link; no data-reading or code-execution impact is reported.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
