CVE-2025-14026

Local code execution via patched ctypes module

Published Jan 6, 2026 · Updated Jan 6, 2026

Code execution in Forcepoint One DLP Client 23.04.5642 allows local users to run arbitrary code through its bundled Python runtime. The client omits ctypes, but copied dependencies and a patched version header let ctypes.pyd load from Python's search path and invoke DLLs or shellcode. Low-privileged local access is required; execution can alter or disable DLP enforcement and monitoring.
