CVE-2025-14019Network attack vector

Phishing via obscured in-app browser warning

Published Dec 15, 2025 · Updated Dec 15, 2025

UI spoofing in LINE client for Android 13.8 through 15.5 allows remote attackers to conduct phishing through its in-app browser. A crafted page layout can cover the browser's full-screen warning prompt, allowing attacker-controlled interface content to appear without the security notice. Exploitation requires a user to open the crafted content, and the documented consequence is interface impersonation rather than code execution or direct data access.
