Administrator script execution via unescaped POST parameter
Published Mar 13, 2025 · Updated Mar 14, 2025
Reflected XSS in WP Click Info 2.7.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to run scripts in an administrator's browser. The wp-click-info-filter.php endpoint returns the POST parameter d1 in the response without sanitization or output escaping. Exploitation requires an administrator to submit an attacker-controlled form, after which the injected script runs with that user's WordPress privileges.
