Browser script execution through crafted display name
Published Dec 4, 2025 · Updated Feb 24, 2026
Cross-site scripting in XunRuiCMS 4.7.0 through 4.7.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute script through a crafted display name. The administrative field-add route processes a crafted data[name] value, but the published record does not identify the responsible function or missing output-encoding operation. Administrative privileges are required to submit the value, and user interaction is required for script execution; the documented effect is limited to page-content integrity.
